Melt-Spun Foil
Melt-Spun Foil is made by rapid solidification, a process that enables the manufacture of amorphous metals which are unable to be manufactured by conventional cold or hot rolling techniques. Melt-Spun Foil and preforms are commonly used to braze heat exchanger assemblies, to assemble and repair compressor vanes, stators, and hush kits for aero engines, and to produce cutting surfaces by brazing diamond compounds to tungsten carbide.
